For Halo, I created 3D animations for social media; and a large scale, videography series. All were used in various pieces of corporate marketing, and in their corporate lobbies.
The series was built around the introduction of a new optical transceiver for datacenter communications. The lead animation depicts this transceiver coming together from an exploded state to fully assembled then capturing and embodying the laser light of optical comms (the electronic soul) to fly off into the stars.
Creating this piece took more than 40 hours of mesh building; handcrafting each of the tiny 300 sub-components of the optical transceiver using the actual transceiver product, disassembled to its component parts, macro photographed and cataloged, as reference. The effort provided a photo-real and reusable digital asset, that could be scaled up to give a sense of size not possible for a microdevice using traditional filming methods. A further 100 hrs was put into the environments, animation key framing, story, voice over, soundtrack and video editing. I was the sole creator.
This photorealistic animation covers the entire globe and is made from a series of extremely high 43K resolution earth imagery, provided by NASA. the layers were stitched together to create a complete topographical duplicate of the planet. The entire planet is then animated with the starts and sun to create a realistic day to night cycle. Finally the camera is animated and with the points on the planet depicting office facilities around the planet.
As part of our promotion of AI technologies at the company, we hosted a large scale AI event at our headquarters on September 25, 2025. During that day I recorded five hours worth of sessions on DJI RS4 gimbal with a Sony FX3a camera and kit lens the entire series of seminars with the top AI data center constructors was published to the sites YouTube channel this represents the recap that I made to encapsulate the day.
This short video piece is one of the most important that was made at the company. This video function as an answer to the question of what our studio facilities provided in terms of optical transceiver process in our warehouse. This particular video helped to land a large customer for the company and was integral to our success in 2025 recognized by the CEO for its contribution in helping to land to the deal.
