Below is 3D animated content made for the ViewSonic marketing team. This content was and is being used for product launches, social media campaigns, corporate websites, trade shows and online advertisements. The work helped to grow social media following and had the highest engagement KPIs of any posted collateral. I was the sole creator of this work. It is built using Blender, Cinema 4D and Houdini, Modo, and others.
This series of 3D animations was incredibly important to the marketing launch of the LDS series of portable video wall displays. This representative brand new product category for the industry, allowing people to roll in a screen of 135 inches or more to give large scale presentations without a permanent set up or lots of notice with the screens poised to be particularly useful to the K-12 and higher education markets.
To create these pieces, every part of the actual 135" LDS Display unit was painstakingly recreated in 3D by hand. Because the individual pixels were actually individual boxes on the substrate, each of the more than 2 million pixels was rendered as its own polygonal box in blender, making it the most complicated single mesh I've ever built. This required multiple days of reference photography and measurements of a real LDS unit, including its specially designed flight case of which there is an animation below showing how it comes apart to contain the display. This was an answer to a problem. The marketing team was having about not having a way of showing how the flight case worked with the display. In an instant, this animation quieted all other suggestions and became the perfect answer to showing the mechanical complexities of this device and it's packaging. This type of technical visualization is incredibly important to marketing tech products and complex engineering. One for which I am particularly proud.
Below our featured a series of animations that focus on the innovative, portable products of ViewSonic. Done to show these portable products without tons of background, hands, arms, and torsos, it was decided that we would show these pristine animation instead. This would also become one of the first animations to show my signature style of an object being assembled from its component parts.

Below is shown an extensive series of animations that were done to showcase orthogonal renders being used for an online configurator of conference room configurators. Trying to do these with traditional 2-D assets was proving difficult so they asked me to create special 3-D assets that could build the scenes in miniature doing so was able to speed up the process and provide for high-quality and reusable web assets that defined our conference room product offerings
These hand created 3D assets that were designed to echo different conference room configurations. These were built into a custom ViewSonic webpage where each of the room configurations was interactive and showed the customer how to configure the hardware for different room sizes.
